Light it on a night of your choosing.

Write a vow you will protect this year.
Seal it. Keep it for seven days.

Return to The )M( Cave and hand a Flamebearer the card with the title of your vow — not the vow itself.

Find the hidden Hestian symbol somewhere within the Hall of Flame.

It is not announced.

When you discover it, write in your Questlog and attach a photo:

Hint: It was not about warmth alone.

In ancient Greece, every city held a sacred hearth fire. It was never allowed to go out. When colonies were founded, flame from the mother city traveled with them.

Continuity was not symbolic. It was literal.

Now, as winter holds its ground, you are asked not to conquer the season — but to endure it.

Stand before the flame.
Warm your hands.
Make your vow.

This observance is open to all throughout the month.
The hearth burns, but only for those who approach it.
